Scott Boote
Agnos Studio was founded by Structural Engineer Scott Boote. A Chartered Structural Engineer with more than 20 years of professional experience in Engineering consultancies in London, Bristol, and Wiltshire in the UK, and in Sydney, Melbourne, and Dubai.
"I’m dedicated to shaping a more sustainable future in construction. My passion lies in architecturally led structures, collaborating with design teams to create innovative, low-carbon solutions that are both beautiful and functional.

Specialising in low-carbon materials, I’ve pioneered the use of structural stone, rammed earth, and timber-concrete composites. With 60+ completed structural stone projects, including post-tensioned systems, I’m one of the few engineers globally with this level of expertise, earning an IStructE Structural Award in 2016. I then went on to author a well-received series of articles for The Structural Engineer magazine on the use of stone as a structural material. As an IStructE Sustainability Panel member, I contribute to industry guidance, including the upcoming publication 'The Future of Structural Design'.
